So,the Kwacha Music Awards are on tonight,and the Zambia National Broadcasting Co-orparation (ZNBC) will beam the Awards live just after the main News.
And I was just thinking,are we gonna see some Upsets tonight?
Are we going to have some New Faces grabbing those Awards?
I dont think so!
The same old guys,the same Artistes we ve been seeing over the Years winning these Awards,will be winning again tonight.
And we cant blame them.
These guys have made such names for themselves that even if they were to sit down and not drop a Single Song for an entire Year,they would still be nominated for these Awards.
And maybe,some of them Upcoming Artistes or rather Underground Artistes are not pushing hard enough,maybe they are not working hard enough,they dont have the guts to Sacrifice the little they have and take that Crown away from Slap.
They dont have the guts to Pay the ultimate Price and push Macky2 away from that seat.
Maybe Radio Djays are not doing enough to help Promote Underground Artistes,I dont know.
Personally,am tired seeing Slap stepping on that Stage Year after year and grab that Award.
Am tired seeing Macky2 on that Stage since 2010.
We cant say the same about Chef 187 and Bobby East because these guys have just started winning these Awards.
Am looking forward to the days when we will be able to see some New faces stepping on that Stage and win every Award.
Am looking forward to the days when Mwila and Mulaza will just be attending these Award Ceremonies as Spectators and just get to see the new Kids Competing.
With that said,tonight its gona be that usual night we ve been witnessing over the Years,though am eager to see who’s gona get that Song Of The Year Award.
So,Slapdee will walk away with not less than two Awards and the same will happen to Macky2.
Enough of Awards.
Slapdee is not dropping his Album anytime soon,because he knows whats best for him and whats best for the very Album.
You just cant drop an Album when everyone is Masturbating to another Album.
Am sure he will take time to make sure that he Perfect this Piece.We will not even be Surprised to have the Album dropped next Year August or even December lol,because Slapdee is best known for Pushbacks.
So,those who want to drop their Albums,this is your time,come next year ,Mwila will be taking over the Internet.
Slapdee is not just an Artiste.
This guy has Perfected every aspect of his art,and I think,this is one of the main reasons Slapdee is getting them endorsements because all these Big Companies and Firms knows that Mwila is what is best for Business.
The support he gets!
The loyalty!
The way he’s been able to grow his brand!
His non Participation in Politics!
He may not be a good Character to an ordinary Zambian out there,simply because of what the Media has been feeding us about him,but asides that,Mwila is a Perfect example to every Kid with a dream.
The Best Of lucky to every artiste that was nominated for the Kwacha Music Awards.
